eCrime – Faculty of Law, University of Trento
“eCrime – ICT, law and criminology” is a leading research group on crime and security sciences within the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, and is coordinated by Andrea Di Nicola, assistant professor in criminology and member of the Faculty of Law. eCrime conducts applied research in the field of crime and security at the time of information society with a strong multidisciplinary accent (criminology, law, statistics, mathematics, computer sciences). Since its foundation in 2011 eCrime has been awarded 12 European research projects, obtaining around € 3.000.000 funds, mainly on organized crime, pharmaceutical crimes, counterfeiting, trafficking in human beings and smuggling of migrants and asylum seekers, frauds, ID crimes, ICT and urban security, predictive policing and predictive urban security.
CSD – Center for the Study of Democracy
Founded in late 1989, the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD) is an interdisciplinary public policy institute dedicated to the values of democracy and market economy. CSD is a non-partisan, independent organization fostering the reform process in Bulgaria through impact on policy and civil society. The main objectives of CSD are to enhance the European integration process, to promote institutional reform, and the practical implementation of democratic values in legal and economic practice. Bringing together social actors and cementing new alliances, the CSD has evolved into policy development through dialogue and partnership. Organised crime, criminal justice and policing have been key areas of research for over a decade for CSD. In collaboration with governmental and non-governmental agencies, it has conducted numerous studies and regular surveys on criminal markets and activities.
Universidad Rey Juan Carlos
Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) is a top Spanish public research body. Researchers involved are amogst the most renowned experts on corruption in Spain, and developed the national corruption surveys. They have statistical analysis skills in business and industry. URJC will pilot the PCB in Spain, and analyze/disseminate results.

Mafia? Nein Danke! (MND) is a German non-governmental organization active in the defense of legality. MND is participating in the European campaign “Restarting the future”, aimed at promoting transparency and fighting corruption in the EU. It will support activities in Germany, by piloting PCB and analyzing/disseminating results.
